Acting on the strategic directions of DMK President M.K. Stalin, Tamil Nadu Leader of the Opposition and DMK Youth Wing Secretary Udhayanidhi Stalin campaigned across the Kundadam rural block in Dharapuram, seeking support for DMK candidate Sister Sukanya. Accompanied by senior party leaders K.N. Nehru, M.P. Saminathan, and V. Senthilbalaji, Udhayanidhi engaged directly with local farming communities, weaving households, and youth groups to rally support under the Rising Sun symbol. Udhayanidhi highlighted the DMK’s historic commitment to advancing women's political representation and grassroots leadership, noting that fielding dedicated candidates like Sister Sukanya embodies the social justice ideals championed by Thanthai Periyar and Perarignar Anna. He contrasted this progressive empowerment with the ruling regime’s transactional governance, which forced an untimely by-election onto Dharapuram through unscrupulous political wheeling and dealing. Addressing the acute distress faced by local ryots due to irregular canal water distribution and soaring agricultural input costs, Udhayanidhi pledged that the DMK will relentlessly fight for agrarian rights and infrastructure revitalization. He called upon Kundadam voters to unite against administrative neglect by casting their ballots for Sister Sukanya, ensuring that Dharapuram’s legislative voice remains firmly anchored in public service, social justice, and administrative accountability.
